Super Visas

The Super Visa Program grants parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents an opportunity to visit their relatives in Canada. The Super Visa is usually issued for 10 (ten) years or until the expiration date of the passport, whichever is earlier.

All visitors under the Super Visa Program are allowed to have multiple entries in the country and can stay for as long as two (2) years during each entry. There is no need to renew the status during this period. Super Visa holders who wish to remain in Canada for more than two years per visit may apply for an extension, as long as they submit their application not later than thirty (30) days before the current visa status expires.

If you are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident card holder in Canada and you wish to have your parents and/or grandparents residing outside the territory of Canada to come and visit you, the Super Visa Program is the perfect avenue.
