Start-up Visas

The Start-Up Visa of the Canadian Government has enticed hundreds of immigrant entrepreneurs owners to build a business in Canada. The program does not only entail establishing a business but also allows foreign entrepreneurs to immigrate to Canada together with their family members. In fact, foreign business entrepreneurs who are waiting for the approval of their permanent residence are allowed to apply for a temporary work permit, giving them permission to enter the country and establish their business.

If you or someone you know is interested in immigrating to Canada via the Start-up Visa Program, one should know that he/she is required to have the support of a Canadian venture capital fund, business incubator or an angel investor group who are eager to invest in your new business.

The foreign entrepreneur must only select its venture capital fund, business incubator or angel investor group from the accredited agency which is authorized by the Canadian government to participate in the Entrepreneur Startup Visa program.
