Express Entry Immigration to Canada: Step by Step Guidance. Important Updates 2021

What is Canada Express Entry?

Express Entry Canada

Express Entry is the streamlined automated process used by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to manage applications for Canada permanent residency. As a candidate for Express Entry, submitting an application means entering into CIC Pool of potential applicants. The potential applicants in the pool are automatically ranked based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, which are allocated to each applicant’s profile based on, among other things, their education, work experience and language abilities. Every two to three weeks, the Canadian government issues Invitations to Apply (ITA) to applicants with the highest scores in the pool to apply for Canadian PR.

If you are serious about moving to Canada as a skilled Professional, Canada Express Entry may be the easiest way to immigrate to Canada! In most of the cases Express Entry application is processed within 6 months from the date it is received.

Unlike other immigration programs, Canada Express Entry Program has the following advantages:

  • Express Entry is a gateway to many immigration pathways. Individuals are flexible to change their program based on Canada’s economic needs.
  • This program is a principal program that aligns Canada’s immigration intake with labour market necessity.
  • Candidates can easily increase their scores whilst in the CIC pool.
  • The requirements of this program make the candidate’s Canadian immigration prospects clear.
  • The processing time is significantly lower than for other programs.
  • The government of Canada easily manages new immigrants through CRS changes and program-specific draws.
